One day a global ceasefire. One day without violence and fear. The 21^st of September is the United Nations International Day of Peace.

War Child Holland celebrates in five countries

On Peace Day War Child Holland united children from Sudan, DR Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone and the Netherlands. In their countries they participated simultaneously in a wide range of creative activities.

Official opening of Child Soldiers campaign

Child Soldiers report handed over to Minister of Development as official opening of Child Soldiers campaign.

War Child’s theme campaign is set up to raise awareness and public support for the worldwide Child Soldier problem.

Featuring handy navigation and some very beautiful images, extensive information about projects as well as awareness rasing efforts, the new website will be host to the fast growing community of War Child Canada supporters.

Coinciding with the child soldier campaign, War Child Holland have just launched their new dutch website at www.warchild.nl.

It’s filled with interesting information, pictures as well as lot’s of video’s -  from the field, interviews with children, about the projects, about events, music video clips, TV documentaries, and much more..

For international visitors a new English language website is now also being developed. For job offers and vacancies there is english information available.

War Child Canada have just launched the bilingual website get loud / plus fort 

Bringing together  contributions of Canadian musicians and youth-  about humanitarian issues and how they can become part of the solution.
